My ePoster is a new digital poster presentation initiative of the IEEE Sensors Council, designed to modernize and enhance poster presentations at Sensors Council conferences. The platform replaces or supplements traditional physical A0 posters with interactive digital displays, making poster presentations more engaging, accessible, and sustainable.
The initiative aims to simplify the poster presentation process by eliminating the need for printing and transporting physical posters. Using user-friendly digital templates and tools, authors can prepare and submit posters more efficiently, reducing preparation time and logistical effort while increasing overall participation.
My ePoster enhances engagement through interactive screen-based presentations and digital networking features, while expanding research visibility by allowing poster content to be accessed before, during, and after scheduled presentation sessions. The platform also supports the creation of a permanent digital archive of poster contributions, ensuring long-term accessibility to the global sensors community.
By reducing paper waste, printing costs, and carbon footprint, My ePoster promotes environmentally responsible conference practices. The initiative also opens opportunities for optional video recording of poster presentations, enabling broader dissemination through IEEE Sensors Council digital channels.
